Bang-up dessert
3 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup 7-up
Beat butter and sugar for 20 minutes at medium speed. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Fold in flour, alternating with 7-up. Preheat the oven to 375. Pour into a bundt pan. Bake for 1 1/4 hours. Remove from pan and glaze with your favorite confections sugar frosting. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

mmmm~ I cannot remember the last time I made a cake from scratch. Mine are the Duncan Hines variety..this one sounds like one the kids would like to help with.
